FAQ
A heads up about this next section. I don't really do favorites. I like a lot of different things at different times. So I have tried to answer these questions with the things that I keep going back to time after time.

What was the first thing you wrote?
I took a creative writing class in high school. We read a lot of different types of stories, new and old. For our mid term exam we had to write our own short story. I don't remember the requirements but I remember handing it in on time. About a week later I was given an appointment in the guidance office. My teacher was accusing me of plagiarism, on the grounds that, "It was too good to have been written by a student". He had no proof, because I wrote it myself. I was moved into a class with, in my opinion, a better teacher. She submitted my story to a local contest, which I won. It also proved that it wasn't plagiaries because the contest people checked. He was forced to apologies and I graciously accepted. After which I laughed my butt off.

What do you like to read?
The first novel I read was The Hobbit in grade five. I had a hard time learning to read. I remember being in the school library holding the book and the teacher took it from me. She said 'that's too hard for you' and put it back on the shelf. She handed me something else, I don't remember what. I went back to the library before I left school that day and the librarian let me have it. I took it home and read it cover to cover before I brought it back.
I like to read fantasy, what a surprise right? Some of my favorites include JRR Tolkien's work, Terry Goodkinds's Sword of Truth, Andzej Sapkowik's The Witcher, among others. I also read a lot of Stephen King and other suggestions from family and friends.

What do you like to listen to?
When I was little my parents listened to country music. It was all we heard in the house. I still love old country, (80's or older). I have had to upgrade to CD's because I wore out my cassettes. In high school I discovered metal and fell in love with Manowar, Nightwish and Metalica. Sabaton wasn't far behind as well as Disturbed and Evanescence. I also love traditional folk and Celtic music like Christy Moor, Dougie MacLean, The Irish Decedents and of course Celtic Thunder.

Are you a Geek?
Well....maybe a little. I have an Xbox One and a 360, Nintendo Switch and Gameboy Colour for console games. I like The Witcher, Assassins Creed, and Skyrim. I have Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, and the Legend of Zelda games and Lego games are fun too. I have a good size collection of Lego that I build and take apart so I can build it again later. I have an almost complete collection of original series Pokémon cards as well as a few later sets and LOTR trading cards. I have the My Little Pony's I got when I was a kid and my Cabbage Patch Kid, Chloe, that I begged for at Christmas. It was not an easy to gift to get back in the 80's, (as I am constantly reminded when I add a another rare collectable to my wish list). My favorite, when I was a kid and today is still He-Man.
