Feyre, Rhysand, and their friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court from the war that changed everything. But Winter Solstice is approaching, and with it, the joy of a hard-earned holiday.
Yet even the festivities can't keep the shadows from the door, as Feyres concern for those dearest to her deepens. The far-reaching effects of a devastating war and the fierce love between friends, can be difficult to navigate. This book is a different read from the other stories. The first books are written form Frayer's point of view, where this book many of the chapters are written from other people's views. It does not take away from the story but it sometimes gets confusing if you have to stop in the middle of a chapter. Several times I had to double check who's view I was reading.
