Runes & Relics - book 2 in the Mallard Pond series

     It was a dark night to be walking the road from the Travelers Inn to the cottage. The moon and stars were hidden by heavy clouds but, Darkvale Warrior, Jack Killian, wasn’t worried. Mallard Pond was a safe place, and he had Everleigh Roberts, a witch, to guide him.

     The tranquillity of the night was broken by a dark silhouette, standing in the middle of the road, that only Everleigh could see. She watched the creature disappear into the darkness, only it would return, and attack her, as the couple slept.

     A mysterious book suggests answers may be found in the Darkvale Hall of Rorenth. Desperate to keep Everleigh safe, the couple set out on a quest to find Rorenth Hall though conflicting rumors say it’s missing, hidden, or possibly destroyed.
